Employees who are dismissed for production-related or financial reasons and have worked at the company for at least five years are legally entitled to outplacement coaching that promotes re-employment. This obligation applies to companies with more than 30 employees. Employees must be offered career coaching to support changing life situation and job search.
The purpose of the outplacement is to mitigate the impact of layoffs, facilitate employees’ re-employment and improve the termination process within the company.
We want to build a better working life in Finland and help jobseekers concretely find a new direction in their careers. The key principles of our outplacement coaching are:
We don’t aim for quick wins but for real solutions tailored to the participants. We support you from the start of the coaching process for up to 12 months — until you find a job or solution that feels right for you. Our coaching aims to achieve over 90% employment.
We talk less and do more. We offer hands-on support for job search and career direction through practical exercises.
Examples of practical tasks include creating a skills map or a modern CV.
We understand the emotions caused by termination and truly want to support in an uncertain situation. Our individual and group coaching sessions offer the opportunity to talk confidentially about experiences and gain inspiration for new career opportunities.
Group coaching
During the group coaching period, participants will learn modern job search skills, to identify own strengths, and to clarify future goals — together with others participating in the coaching.
Individual coaching
In personal meetings, our career coaches support and challenge participants in their next career step.
Workshops
Our regularly held workshops help to develop skills and understanding of various topics related to job searching and career planning.
Community platform
Participants will have 12 months of access to our digital coaching platform, Kytkin. There is useful content and a community that helps and supports in finding a new direction.
Additionally
Our outplacement coaching is always tailored to the participants’ needs. In some cases, the coaching may include subject-specific training, helping maintain and develop skills relevant to the field with the support of our experts.
